Tuesday the House overwhelmingly passed H.R. 3087, the bipartisan bill I introduced with Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii), Rep. Phil English (R-Pa.) and a bipartisan coalition of members. the bill increases oversight of the Iraq war by requiring the administration to report Congress within 60 days — and every 90 days thereafter — on the status of its planning for redeployment.
